About EventTimes
EventTimes answers four questions before a gig: what time the doors open, when the headliner comes on, when the venue has to stop, and when the last train or tram leaves. Every answer carries a source and a date.
The owner
Emily Dyson owns and runs EventTimes. She decides which venues are covered, verifies every venue fact by hand against the venue’s own pages, approves reader reports, and publishes every change to the changelog. Nothing reaches a page without a named source she can point to.
How the facts are gathered
- Venue facts (curfew, bag policy, capacity, usual doors time) come only from the venue or operator’s own pages, quoted verbatim, and show the date they were last checked.
- Stage times are gathered after each show from reviews and community reports and published only when two independent sources agree within five minutes, or one source is backed by an approved reader report.
- Expected times are derived from a tour’s observed pattern and the venue’s curfew, and are always labelled as estimates.
- Last trains are computed from official open transport timetables and refreshed weekly.
- Show listings come from Ticketmaster and update daily.

Corrections
Every venue and show page has a report form. Reports go to a moderation queue, are checked against the source, and either publish with a changelog entry or are declined. A fact shown to be wrong is corrected on the page and recorded on the changelog with the date; it is never silently edited.
What EventTimes is not
It is not a ticket seller and does not take payment from venues or promoters for coverage. It does not guess: a missing curfew is shown as missing. Always check with the venue and the transport operator before relying on a time here for a journey home.
